2nd day in Quebec City

By cbourne66

We had a great day in the city on Monday–toured the entire inner city by foot, had dinner with a couple we met from PA at a crepe restaurant, went to the Quebec Experience performance and then ended the night with a spectacular over the river light/movie production.  We love Quebec and look forward to returning someday for a longer period of time.  As for the blog–we have not mastered this yet. Posting is fine but we do not yet know how about managing the comments–can’t figure out if they just appear also on our e-mail or if those comments are being sent via our e-mail and not the blog–my mind is being stretched.  If anyone can help–please feel free–Carol

Hi Dick and Carol – Easy to upload pictures to a message – when you are in the “Write Post” page, look for the line near the top that says “Add media”, click on the first icon for adding a picture to that post.

If you want to change the constant picture at the top of the blog, choose “My Account” from the very top line, the pick “Edit Profile” from the drop-down list. The page that appears has a box “My Picture” which lets you upload a new banner picture.

Also I believe the comments people write come to you as an email as well as showing up on-line in the blog. Ah, technology.
    Have fun! Linda

    Bonjour,

Here is the retired professor of geography with a Quetzal semi-reclined bike, you have met on the Promenade de Samuel-Champlain. I was going close to you to ask questions about your Self levelling Red DEL Blinking Light screwed on top of your hard hats. First, I thought you were two members of our Bike Trail Police Force. You see the serious feeling you transmit to others. ;=)

I which you « Bonne route » in your journey. Be carefull : your tires may be inflated partially or totally with Québec air. Export of pressurized air may not be permitted by the NAFTA rules. Who knows ?

I have entered my e-mail address in the blank to write this. Hope you get it.

Au revoir ! Bon voyage !

    Hi you two,

It sounds like your trip of a lifetime is happening! Glad to hear all is going well and you are seeing so many interesting and beautiful sights along the way. The selection of overnight spots sound quite varied and your rides on country roads sound glorious. It’s good to follow your progress and know you are safe and happy!

We just spent a long week-end with the Pt. Arena kids and then took a few days by ourselves (this time) at Sea Ranch, with perfectly beautiful weather. Relaxing but not as challenging as your adventure. Patrick and chef friend Aaron put on their third of the season “field to table dinner” and I bet it riveled any meal at the CIA. Of course, we are a bit biased.

Keep well and continue having good travels. We miss you guys.

    Much love,

    Sheila and Bob
